Per the request of[link] who needs all the support and cheering up she can possibly get, here is a closed shot of the adult Question Mark. I don't know if this species got its name because if you turn sideways and flip yourself upside down with 3-D glasses on it looks like a question mark or if whom ever first saw it just had no clue as to what to call it. Anyway, I hope you all enjoy it, especially you Cindy as this is the very least I can do.

Scientific name: Polygonia interrogationis
Family: Nymphalidae
Subfamily: Nymphalinae
Tribe: Nymphalini

You may see this species open here: [link]
And the caterpillar here: [link]

 Very nice Ryan!! I'm sure you already know, but this butterfly got it's name from the question mark like mark on it's hind wing. Just like how the Comma Butterfly got it's name. =D

I knew, I just don't like it is all. So many silly common names that it sometimes makes me want to be my head with a bat.

very nice shot and thanks once again for the links to the other views.

You may want to check the link to Cindy since all I got was an outgoing link showing an avatar.
