In the Dark by Fezzgator In the Dark by Fezzgator
A very attractive if subtle species I got my hands on. It was my hope to breed this species but it didn't pan out I'm afraid. This species is known as the Ailanthus or Cynthia Silkmoth. It is also of note that this species has been introduced to North America and Europe in attempts to start a silk industry in the past, you can see how well that worked out...

Scientific Name: Samia cynthia
Family: Saturniidae
Subfamily: Saturniinae
Tribe: Attacini
